Minutes from Senior League Captains Meeting

The Men's Senior League Captain's meeting was held May 17, 2011 at Blossom Tennis Center.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm, captains in attendance were:
Herman Oswald from Fair Oaks,  Walter Leeman from Sonterra, Michael Fisher and his co-captain Charles Wedge from Shadow Cliff, Tucker Southerland from Oak Hills, Rick Gregory from Windcrest, and Roy Salinas from Alamo Heights.   A total of 6 players were to be registered on each team by June 5th, 2011.

The Captains voted to play a single RR due to the time allowed for finishing our league;
to play regular scoring with a tiebreaker at 6 all. A 10 Point tiebreaker will be played to determine the 3rd set and the "Coman System" is to be used in all tiebreakers.
Play was to start June 11, 2011.
Balls are to be provided by ACTT.
It was also suggested that Captains be understanding when teams have a "legitimate" reason for playing their match or certain lines at a later date.

The 4.5 Seniors had only one team registered, with Bill Hurt as Captain.   We have the possibility of another coming on board soon.  The person representing the future team was Mark Brown from Windcrest.  He was to check with his players and let us know the following week.

The Meeting was adjourned at 7:44pm.
