SATA teams up with local school districts, city parks, the USTA Foundation and the Paul Wiegand Foundation to offer tennis programs to San Antonio area youth aged 6-18. The program teaches the game of tennis while promoting an active lifestyle and positive character.

National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL), a vision of Arthur Ashe, brings tennis and education together to change lives. SATA and the USTA use the sport of tennis as a vehicle to help under-resourced youth become more engaged in school and learning with the goal of succeeding in tennis and in life. The program delivers low cost tennis instruction, academic support, and enrichment opportunities to positively impact lives from childhood to adulthood. ​
